With wonderful views of the harbor, the 28 room Vineyard Square Hotel and Suites is perfectly located in the center of town, surrounded by shops, art galleries and restaurants. Virtually anywhere you would like

 to go in Edgartown is only steps away. Hardwood floors and sparkling white trim give this hotel a crisp, fresh feel. The lobby has comfortable couches and a fireplace and the breakfast room is bright and airy.

The front porch is strewn with comfortable rocking chairs and is a favorite spot to read the morning paper, curl up with a book in the afternoon or just to watch the people go by.

THE ROOMS at the Vineyard Square Hotel

The rooms are painted in a cheery “beach” colors with crisp white pine furniture and trim, four poster high boy beds, with white duvets and colorful accent pillows and accessories.  The best rooms are the harbor view rooms with a fireplace. They are slightly larger and have their own private balcony overlooking the harbor. For non-harbor view rooms, guests still have the use of 4 common harbor view decks. For longer stays or when traveling with children, the wonderfully appointed Residence Guest Suites are ideal. More space, great views and wonderful amenities. The roof deck is the perfect place to enjoy the sunrise or sunset.

DINING at the Vineyard Square Hotel

A very complete continental breakfast is served each morning in a room just off the main lobby as is afternoon tea. Breakfast and newspapers are available at 6:30am which is a real bonus for those of us who are early risers.

The very popular Chesca’s restaurant adjoins the hotel and is open for dinner each evening.

One word of caution. The hotel has 4 floors and no elevator. Not a tough walk up, but it’s something you should know.
