Edson Hill Manor dining is the most delightful place to dine in Stowe. A warm and cozy tavern, an intimate dining room and a glorious outdoor patio with wonderful mountain views create a setting that can’t be beat.

Under the direction of Executive Chef Matt Hiebsch, the menu focus is on New England farms and purveyors. Start with a Sesame Focaccia, whipped ricotta, roasted tomato and fresh oregano or an Arugula & Peach Salad with a buttermilk vinaigrette, thai basil, fennel and ancient grains. with For entrees we enjoyed a Rack of Lamb withwsmoked carrot yogurt, grilled romano beans and an herb salad and Hudson Valley Duck with farro verde, gooseberry, roasted maitake mushroom and duck jus.

For dessert, we shared a wonderful Basque Cheesecake  with clover honey, thyme and ver jus.

Nearly 20 wines by the glass and some excellent choices. The full list, while not lengthy has some wonderful selections and at reasonable prices.

This is a beautiful dining room, perfect for intimate conversation. The outdoor patio is just as inviting.
