The summer months are very busy as you would expect and the Spring and Fall offer great weather and fewer people.
Boston is the closest major airport and is about a two hour drive from Chatham. There are also flights from Boston to Hyannis on the Cape that take about 35 minutes.

Things To Do
Chatham Seaside Links is a 9 hole, wide open course, located adjacent to the Inn. The concierge can arrange golf at other nearby golf courses. There are 6 18 hole courses within 6 miles of the resort.
A special court composition provides the play and feel of clay with the convenience of hard court. Wonderful Oceanside courts and Pro Shop.
The 24 hour fitness center is fully equipped with all the latest machines
On the South Lawn. Laser flat service provides a fun and challenging experience.
Chatham Bars has an amazing stable of boats sure to satisfy any interest. Five Star is a 55-Hinckley jet boat that can take guests to Martha’s Vineyard or Nantucket for the day. Star Fish, a 52- Viking sport fishing yacht offers big game fishing. Wind Star is a Nantucket Indian wooden sailboat, ideal for closer to shore sailing excursions. Lob Star is an open cabin power boat where you can learn how to catch lobsters. The Bar Tender, a local custom-designed, 22-person capacity beach launch is used for excursions to view native seals and scenic breakfast and twilight cruises and The Harbor Star is ideal for half-day cruises and charters for up to 6 people.
There is a heated, oceanfront pool with private cabanas and surrounded by private beach. The Inn also offers complimentary boat shuttle service to the Outer Beach on Cape Cod National Seashore, accessible only by boat.
The Inn offers Land Rover tours of the dunes of Nauset Beach with an opportunity to see a variety of wildlife. A vintage 1929 Ford Model A Woody can take you on a tour of historic Chatham and the in-house naturalist provides nature walks on Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge on Morris Island and beach walks on the Outer Beach.
The Spa at Chatham Bars Inn includes wet and dry treatment rooms, a Vichy shower room, and an outdoor relaxation pool surrounded by lushly landscaped gardens with private cabanas. There are a full range of treatments and reasonably priced. The Spa is somewhat separated from the rest of the resort, adding to the tranquility of the experience. I had one of the best massages of my life here.
The Inn offers programs for children of all ages: Beach Buddies (4-6), Clam Diggers (7-9) and Wash-A-Shores (10-12). Activities include games, arts and crafts, paddle boarding, cookie making, beach Olympics, scavenger hunts, boat trips and more.
