Casa Marina Resort

OVERVIEW of the Casa Marina Resort

If a full service hotel is what you are seeking, The Casa Marina will fit the bill. Opened in 1920 it has the charm of an old world hotel with all the modern amenities. It is located just outside the heart of town on the largest private beach on the island. Many of the 311 rooms and 71 suites have balconies facing the water.  There are two pools, a whirlpool, 3 lighted tennis courts, a full service health club, a poolside café and a salon/spa. Key West Water Sports, located on the grounds, can arrange snorkeling, para sailing, scuba, boat trips, fishing and also rents bicycles and scooters.

The property was acquired by Hilton who undertook a complete renovation and it has been significantly upgraded as a result.

THE ROOMS at the Casa Marina Resort

Rooms are tastefully decorated in warm shades of brown and cream with colorful contemporary art adding flashes of color. Ocean side rooms (3rd floor) in the old b

uilding or the oceanside rooms in the West Wing (again 3rd floor or above) are preferable. The rooms in the old building overlook the grounds with the ocean in the distance, are smaller rooms, but have a large deck with lounge chairs and a table with umbrella and chairs. (make sure you specify with the patio or deck when making reservations). The West Wing rooms are larger, with a smaller patio, but look right out onto the ocean.

For something a little extra, book a Lilly Pulitzer Suite, featuring prints from Lilly Pulitzer’s Vintage Vault, Lix Lee Jofa fabrics, custom wall coverings, and a bespoke Benjamin Moore palette. Curated by designer Amanda Reynal and accented with playful Circa Who Furniture pieces, each space reveals hand-painted details, whimsical touches, and a layered sense of discovery.

DINING at the Casa Marina Resort
