Topnotch Resort

OVERVIEW of Topnotch Resort & Spa

Topnotch Resort & Spa completed a major renovation in the summer of 2013 that introduced a new entryway, lobby and lobby lounge, The Roost and the re-branding of Norma’s restaurant as The Flannel. The design offers a contemporary take on the quintessential Vermont lodge and blends nicely with the existing structure. The latest upgrade follows the renovation of the Topnotch Spa and pool area a few years back and confirms that Topnotch is at the top of its game.

THE ROOMS at Topnotch Resort & Spa

Accommodations include guest rooms, suites and resort homes, decorated in a contemporary country chic style….a kind of mountain Pottery Barn. Rooms are large (some have 13ft ceilings) and equipped with all the luxuries you would expect; pillow top beds, Keurig coffeemakers, IHome docking radio, 42″ flat screen TV’s, refreshment center and more.

DINING at Topnotch Resort & Spa

The Roost is a casual lobby lounge with a great bar, flat screen TV’s and outdoor seating. The menu is casual with “bar nosh” like wings, Pierogi’s, pot roast chili and meats and cheeses, lunchtime sandwiches and lite fare for dinner. Drinks can be made with fresh squeezed juices. Flannel is an excellent bistro type restaurant with delicious food, an open kitchen design and amazing mountain views. They serve all three meals and at night excellent bistro fare with a very good wine selection.

THE SERVICE at Topnotch Resort & Spa

The staff is pleasant and attentive. We were greeted at the front door each time we returned to the hotel by a bellman/doorman who always asked if there was anything he could do for us. Check-in was swift and efficient and we were given a choice of newspapers to be delivered in the morning. Turn down service was completed early in the evening with bottled water and chocolates on our nightstand when we returned from dinner.
