OVERVIEW OF The Brenton Hotel

Opened in 2020 by a group of locals, The Brenton quickly became a favorite of well heeled Newport residents and travelers. Named for Brenton Point, the stretch of land that has welcomed merchants, naval ships, America’s Cup yachts and pleasure sailors to Newport Harbor, the inn was designed with a nod toward Newport history while offering a contemporary design for today’s world.

THE ROOMS The Brenton Hotel

The 57 rooms and suites are huge, starting at a very generous 450 sq ft, all facing out to views of the harbor and historic Newport. Decorated in shades of beige, white and blue, reflecting the water around, most have floor-to-ceiling windows and seating areas. Luxury linens drape the beds and plump towels anchor the bathrooms.

DINING AT The Brenton Hotel

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the cozy Living Room restaurant. The space features comfortable sofas and armchairs and is a favorite of locals for cocktails and dining.

The Rooftop is a wonderful cocktail bar open daily from 4pm-sunset. Amazing views.
