Aurelia at Castle Hill Inn

As you look around the bar and restaurant at Castle Hill, it is evident that this is a special occasion destination. Everyone is dressed up and everyone seems to be celebrating something. Most of the people at the bar, waiting for a table, were there for a special event.

There’s good reason to come here for a celebration. The setting is spectacular, with water views from both dining rooms, and the food is equally as special.

The restaurant makes use of local seafood, local farms and their own herb and produce garden

The restaurant offers a 6 course tasting menu ($185) with wine pairings ($125) that changes often. A recent trip featured Aged Striped Jack with fennel and pears as a first course, Jonah Crab with tarragon and vanilla as a second, Carrot with beef cheeks and cumin as the third, a choice of Lobster with artichikes and black tea or Sea Bass with watercress and cauliflower for the fourth course. Fifth course presented Guinea Hen with beetroot and huckleberries or Wagyu Sirloin with sea urchin gnocci and broccolini and finally dessert choices of Cocoa with basmati rice and mandarin or Hidden Rose Apple with chamomile and caramel.

The Lawn offers al fresco dining, seasonally with casual favorites and amazing views.
